Please join us in welcoming alumna Dr. Seema Sinha, PhD, Director of Diagnostics Strategy at LabCorp. Dr. Sinha is based in Seattle and will share her interesting path and role.

Dr. Seema Sinha, PhD, is currently the Director of Diagnostic Strategy at Labcorp where she has held this role and one in Operations since 2024. After her PhD at Vanderbilt in Cancer Biology, Dr. Sinha traveled to Seattle for a postdoctoral fellowship at Fred Hutch and had the opportunity to work at Fred Hutch’s technology transfer office as a Business Development & Strategy Fellow. She returned to Vanderbilt in 2019 for a role as a Licensing Analyst and Officer at the VU Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization until 2023. To bridge the gap between science and business, she decided to earn her MBA at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. While pursing her MBA, she served on the board of Nucleate Seattle as their Director of Technology Strategy. Since graduating from her MBA, she joined Labcorp and has served in Operations and Strategy at Labcorp where she works on strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and revenue growth, while having a direct impact on healthcare.
