Dr. Dobbins is the Director of the Academic Discovery Performance Unit at GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to working at Glaxo, he was an instructor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received his BE from Vanderbilt University in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering and later received his PhD in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics as well as his MD, both from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
