Career fairs are one tool in the job-seeker's bag. When attending one, you'll want to make a good impression on any employer representatives you meet! We'll discuss proper etiquette, and familiarize you with the career fair setting. This year, the University Career Fair is a combined event, open to all majors and all degree levels (Sept 19, Rec Center, 4-7 pm). Presented by Ruth Schemmer, Asst Dean for Career Development.

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is hosting an annual conference about science and technology in the Department of Defense Chemical and Biological Defense Program. The 2017 Chemical and Biological Defense Science & Technology (CBD S&T) Conference will be in Long Beach, California, November 28-30, 2017. Student registration rates are available.

Vanderbilt trainees will have a great opportunity to learn about consulting from the leading global consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on Wednesday, July 12 at 7 pm. Coordinated by the Vanderbilt University Advanced Degree Consulting Club, this is the first time that BCG will hold an exclusive webinar for advanced degree candidates at Vanderbilt. You will interact with current employees of BCG to learn about their transition from academia to business as well as their interesting case experiences.
