For M1 Amber Wesoloski, Thursday afternoon means a chance to try her hand at clinical work— specifically, in a neurology clinic focused on multiple sclerosis.
“I’ve been in clinical environments before, but the big difference is that I’ve gotten more autonomy to go see patients by myself, take their histories, and practice doing physical exams,” Amber shares.
“Having the experience of presenting what I find in the patients to my preceptor is really cool— and great practice for next year, when we’re on the wards full time!”
