Hello, I’m Anna, and I’m really passionate about my career as a potential OB/GYN! I chose Vanderbilt to start my career for its collaborative and supportive environment. Everyone here is truly family, and I knew that would mean a lot to me when setting out on a demanding but rewarding career path. I’ve gotten experience early, working at our free student-run clinic, Shade Tree. At Shade Tree, I’ve volunteered on the social work team and with the Early Pregnancy Program, working to assist and educate vulnerable populations in Nashville. Learning how to interact respectfully and competently with patients so early on is a great opportunity. I also serve on our Social Mission Committee as we search for ways to be more equitable and culturally competent caregivers. From the classroom to the clinic to the city, you feel like you’re making a difference! I’d be glad to tell you more!
