I am from Croatia and I moved to Tennessee in 2014. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology with minor in Chemistry, at Tennessee State University in 2020. I entered the IGP at Vanderbilt university in 2020. and joined the department of Pharmacology. I am in Jeffrey L. Neul Lab and my research focuses on nonsense mutations in Methyl-CpG Binding Protein 2 (MeCP2) that cause Rett syndrome. Outside the lab I enjoy hiking, art, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
