Hello! My name is Mistie Germek and I am the BRET psychologist. This spring, I am going to be facilitating a seminar for School of Medicine Postdocs on Developing and Maintaining Effective Communication Skills in the Research Environment.  The seminar will consist of a didactic component and a discussion component.  The didactic component serves the purpose of giving you concrete information on developing effective communication skills in the research environment.   The discussion component will revolve around difficult situations that might arise at work and how to effectively deal with those situations.  There will also be an opportunity to present dilemmas you are currently trying to navigate so you can get ideas from myself and other postdocs on how you might want to proceed.

The seminar will take place in Light Hall from 1:30-3:00.  The specific location will be determined later this month. Spots are limited so please RSVP by replying to this email by January 20th and specifying the date you would like to attend: March 4th or March 6th.
