Director, Postdoctoral Affairs, Indiana University School of Medicine
The Graduate Division of the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM, located on the Indiana University-Purdue University campus in Indianapolis) seeks candidates for the position of Director, Postdoctoral Affairs Office with responsibilities for the postdoctoral research programs of the School. The Director will hold an Academic Specialist rank. The position will have responsibility for an office to provide resources for the postdoctoral fellows and faculty of the IUSM, to provide services for potential postdoctoral fellows, to recruit postdoctoral fellows, and to develop relationships with other academic institutions.
Candidates must have a Ph.D., be able to work independently, be prepared to travel and work flexible hours, and have outstanding communications skills. Experience in postdoctoral research, graduate education, and an understanding of biological/biomedical sciences are preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
