Bionest Partners is a boutique strategy consulting firm, focused exclusively on the medical industry. We work with our clients to help them answer key issues that arise during the development and commercialization of their products.
We help clients address the most critical issues in today’s market – securing new sources of growth, enhancing competitive positioning, and optimizing market efforts. We work on a broad range of projects such as:
- Corporate development strategy, including personalized medicine development strategy
- Franchise and portfolio strategy
- Asset valuation
- Clinical and commercial strategy for new products
- Market access strategy and operational planning
Our clients include large and specialty biotech/pharmaceutical, medical products, diagnostics and service-based companies. We bring particular expertise in working with early-stage companies and small-cap and middle-market situations.
We are seeking to add one or more Associate Consultants or Consultants to our team.
Associate Consultant / Consultant
Individuals with a Ph.D., MBA, or other advanced degree with 0-2 years of experience typically join our firm as Associate Consultants. Individuals with a Ph.D., MBA, or other advanced degree with 2-4 years of experience in a related field typically join our firm as Consultants. The specific responsibilities depend upon the individual but could include:
- Coordination and execution of market and/or competitive research (primary and secondary)
- Market and competitive analyses
- Synthesis of findings
- Development of insights
- Evaluation of options and development of recommendations
- Client presentations
- Project management (Consultant level position)
Requirements: The successful candidate will have:
- Ph.D. or MD and/or MBA from a top-tier program with 0-2 years of consulting experience for Associate Consultant position (2-4 years for Consultant position)
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
- The ability to work with own initiative with little direction
- A learning mindset with strong time management skills and the ability to deliver high quality outputs under time-pressured deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive attitude and the drive and desire to progress in the organization
