The journal will host twenty research articles annually. Articles will be no more than three pages in length with a maximum of three figures. As the manuscript must be understandable to the educated public, it is acceptable and even encouraged if the reviewer is outside of the primary field of research discussed in the manuscript. The time commitment is roughly 6-8 hours of time (spread over a few weeks). Visit www.youngscientistjournal.org to see previous volumes and contact the editor, Mary Loveless, for more information about becoming an reviewer for the upcoming year. The initial review period is November 19th – December 1st, 2014. The students will make revisions and formulate a rebuttal letter which will be received by reviewers on January 7th, 2015 for final Accept/Reject decisions.
