The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Bioanalytical Chemistry with a focus on quantitative analysis of drugs and metabolites in all biological samples. Experience in addressing bioanalytical issues and challenges in drug discovery and development is required. Responsibilities include directing Bioanalytical Core Laboratory of the Center for Clinical Pharmacology and leadership service in a scientific community. Teaching responsibility will include training fellows in bioanalytical method development and validation of assays. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research. A bachelor’s degree in chemistry is preferred.
