AAAS S&T Policy Fellowships provide doctoral level scientists and engineers* with the unique opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to national and international issues in the federal policy realm, while learning first-hand about establishing and implementing policy. Fellows serve yearlong assignments in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the federal government in the Washington D.C. region.
