The Division of Basic Sciences invites applications at the Assistant Member level. We are seeking outstanding scientists conducting cutting-edge research into fundamental biological questions. Current faculty investigate diverse areas of genetic, molecular, cellular, developmental, metabolic, evolutionary and structural biology and utilize a broad range of approaches and experimental systems. We support our junior faculty by providing outstanding colleagues, a collegial atmosphere, and a wealth of technical resources. The Fred Hutch is located in a modern campus by Lake Union in Seattle, WA and is close to other non-profit research institutes and the University of Washington. It has an outstanding graduate program and state of the art facilities and shared resources.
