Job Opportunity: Data Scientist positions
Multiple Data Scientist positions are available in a large, publicly-traded healthcare organization.
Data Scientists will work with the business to understand business problems, analyze relevant data, interpret the results, and provide reports. Knowledge areas include, but are not limited to, Root cause identification, Clustering, Regression, Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning, Hypothesis Testing etc. Candidate should exhibit strong passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data. Candidate should also drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data source. Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
M.S. or Ph.D. in a Math or Statistical field, or 4+ years’ experience in a relevant role. Will have experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approach. Coach other team members as appropriate, within area of expertise. Required skills: R, Matlab, SAS, or other statistical/scientific computing applications/platforms; SQL, scripting and programming languages.
