TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY
The Biology Department of Wheeling Jesuit University (WJU) seeks a neurophysiologist/neurobiologist for a tenure track position beginning in the Academic Year 2016-2017. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses and laboratories in neurobiology or neurophysiology for Biology majors, a two-semester anatomy/physiology course and laboratory for Nursing and Allied Health majors, and participate in mentoring students in research. This appointment will be pending budgetary approval.
Wheeling Jesuit offers a baccalaureate degree in biology. It is a Catholic, Jesuit, Liberal Arts University whose faculty members focus on teaching students and preparing them for post-graduate study. There is a strong emphasis on undergraduate research.
