Alumni? Continue to learn with us for IPPCR ASPIRE Module!

Posted by on Friday, August 28, 2015 in Announcements .

The ASPIRE Program and the BRET Office of Career Development welcome everyone from the surrounding clinical research community as well as alumni to join us for this free NIH Clinical Center Course, Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (IPPCR). Vanderbilt is a registered remote webcast site for the course that will be offered on Mondays and Tuesdays, October 13-March 22, from 4:00-5:30PM.

There is no academic credit offered, however, a certificate of completion is awarded by the NIH upon successful scoring of 75% or higher on the optional final exam.

Once registered, you can participate in two ways:

1. Watch it in person! If you enjoy the structure of a classroom commitment, join us on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4-5:30pm in 350 Light Hall on the Vanderbilt University Medical Center campus.

2. Watch it at home! If you would prefer to watch the videos online at your leisure at home or at the office, all videos will be available after they are broadcast live and can be watched at any point after the class is complete.

Both opportunities require signing up for the course, and you can do so here through the Vanderbilt website. (At a later juncture, you will be asked to complete the process by signing up through the NIH, but not yet!)

To register for this opportunity, please fill out this survey and wait for further instructions from our office.

For further questions about this course, logistics or the application process, please contact Ashley E. Brady, PhD, (ashley.brady@vanderbilt.edu), Director of Career Engagement and Strategic Partnerships.  You can also visit our website at: ASPIRE Modules | BRET Career Development ASPIRE Program | Vanderbilt University.

We invite you to join us and share this information with your colleagues!
