Making Communication Effective

Different contexts require different approaches. The 3MT may be a start, but to be truly effective, students must learn to adjust their spiel to accommodate an elevator speech, an appeal to a policy maker, or an interview answer, among others. While discussing one’s robust analytical approach works in academia, it does not produce an actionable answer needed outside academia. This workshop/seminar will help attendees learn how to make such adjustments in their communication.
