Applications being accepted for the ORNL Distinguished Fellowships

Oak Ridge National Laboratory is currently accepting applications for the Liane Russell, Eugene Wigner, Alvin Weinberg, and Alston Householder Distinguished Fellowships. The Distinguished Fellowships hire a limited number of outstanding early career scientists and engineers into research staff positions at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, TN. Selected Fellows are expected to contribute greatly to the research efforts of ORNL, represent ORNL with its collaborators in the scientific community, and work to advance the missions and goals of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and The Department of Energy.  A full description of each of the Fellowships are listed onapplication posting site here

 

Successful applicants are those who have high potential to be future ORNL leaders and who have demonstrated strong leadership within their academic, professional, and/or technical areas.

 

To apply, applicants must have received their doctoral degree before his or her start date and can be no more than five years beyond receiving their doctoral degree at the date of application submission. Applicants should not have previously held more than one postdoctoral appointment.
