Anyone interested in gaining teaching experience should consider applying to serve as a FOCUS co-Leader. FOCUS sessions are small group literature discussions for first year graduate students. Two Co-Leaders will be paired with a faculty member and mentored through the process to teach small group discussion sections. The time commitment is every Monday from 11-12 and Tuesdays from 9-11.  This opportunity is open to postdoctoral fellows and senior graduate students who have passed their qualifying exams. Anyone wishing to apply should first consult with and get permission from their PI and then send an email to James.G.Patton@Vanderbilt.edu
