Job Opportunity: Pharmacology Faculty Position, College of Pharmacy, University of Texas at Tyler

The Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The position offers an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, student-centered academic Pharm.D. program. Integrated courses are taught in a team-based learning (TBL) environment that values personal and professional growth and the development of each student.

 

Qualifications: Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. or comparable degree in pharmacology or related field and significant research experience in his/her area of expertise. Specific teaching and research experience in cardiovascular pharmacology or endocrine pharmacology is preferred, but not required.

 

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include contributing to the development and delivery of the pharmacology component of the core classroom, laboratory and elective courses within the Pharm.D. curriculum. In addition to a dedication to excellent student teaching, all successful candidates must be committed to research and scholarship and service to the College and University.
