The Ohio University College of Medicine 2017 Autumn Postdoctoral Recruitment Event

The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Office of Postdoctoral Research is pleased to announce the 2017 Autumn Postdoctoral Recruitment Event! This event will be held November 2-3, in collaboration with the Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Pelotonia Fellowship Program.

 

This event will provide an excellent opportunity for outstanding PhD students from leading graduate programs to meet our research faculty, interview for open postdoctoral positions, and discover the exciting and innovative research taking place at The Ohio State University and the Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Selected candidates will be invited to visit the Ohio State campus, network with current OSU and NCH postdocs, present their research to faculty in a podium presentation, interview with prospective mentors, and learn more about postdoctoral opportunities at Ohio State and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Candidates selected to attend this event may be considered for a variety of opportunities at Ohio State, including fellowships, training grants, and other internal training programs. Full funding will be provided for travel expenses.

 

Application for this event is open to senior graduate students who have completed or expect to complete their PhD between January 2017 and June 2018. Preference will be given to US Citizens and permanent residents who are training grant-eligible AND who come from underrepresented backgrounds.
