The person sought for this position will work in a group of expert regulatory and product safety professionals within a Department of Regulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship. Our client company is a large and diverse, specialty chemical company located in the Southern U.S.

With the emergence of regulations requiring exposure and risk characterization, the company is seeking a person with a MS or PhD, ideally in Statistics, Life Sciences or Modelling. In addition, experience in the use of risk assessment software tools and computational toxicology (human and environmental endpoint QSAR) methods is needed. The company is willing to consider an early career person or someone with a few years of applied experience, especially in the context of risk/exposure calculations pertaining to global chemical regulatory standards and hazard classifications.

The person hired for this role will support various business units in the derivation and analysis of data for regulatory dossiers and responses on TCSA, REACH, GHS and related standards and provide information for the development of exposure and industrial hygiene standards to protect employees and customers. A strong growth opportunity exists with the company, which is located in the Southeast U.S.
