Engaging Scientists and Engineers in Policy (ESEP) is hosting a webinar entitled, “Working with your State Legislature”. Melanie Roberts, Science and Technology Policy Consultant in Washington State, will interview Chris Rothfuss, Senate Minority Leader at Wyoming State Legislature and Debra Cooper, Principal Consultant for the California State Senate. They will discuss what it’s like to work as a science Ph.D. in the State Legislature, how they help to promote evidence-informed policy, and how you can engage with your state legislature.
