On Writing: Writing Beyond the Academy will take place on Wednesday, March 21, from 4:15-5:15 PM in Alumni Hall 100.
For the most part, we as researchers are trained to write for specialists within our field. This event will explore how to cultivate writing skills to reach non-specialist audiences. Please join us as Dr. David Weintraub, Professor of Astronomy, Dr. Paul Kramer, Professor of History, and Bill Snyder, Senior Science Writer at VUMC, discuss writing for audiences outside of the academy. Refreshments will be served.
