Bio:
Sathish Hasige is the Global Head of early Stage formulation development at Medimmune, the biologics arm of Astrazeneca. Sathish has held a variety of roles that spanned discovery support, process development and commercial manufacturing support within Medimmune, AstraZeneca and Hospira. At Medi he is responsible to provide leadership and management of early stage formulation development activities through the commercial formulation recommendation. Sathish received his graduate degrees in Biochemistry (M.S. and Ph.D.) from The University of Mysore in India.
Before joining the biotech industry Sathish did is postdoctoral fellowship in Hassane Mchaourab’ s at Vanderbilt University in the understanding the mechanism action of molecular chaperones in preventing protein aggregation. In addition to leading the early-stage development, Sathish is also leading the precision medicine initiative and the CMC team leader for several assets, and currently is the team lead for Tezepelumab. He has also participated actively in industry/academic collaborations focusing on development of in-silico tool for high concentration product characterization, high throughput method/process development and has published several peer reviewed journals and patents.
