Digital Scholarship Workshops and Boot Camps, Spring 2019
Workshops and Boot Camps take place in Room 418a of the Central Library unless otherwise noted.

Boot Camps:
GitHub, MWF, 12:10-1:00 February 18, 20, 22
This bootcamp will consist of three one-hour sessions that range from beginner- to advanced-level topics. The first session will teach you how to get started creating and using an online Github repository. The second session will include implementing version control on your personal computer using Github desktop. The final session will introduce you to Github tools for collaborative project management, including forking and using the issue tracker.
Understanding Your Computer: Basic Skills

Mac version: 2:10-3:00, MWF, March 25, 27, 29
Do you find yourself confused when installing software or trying to find files? Are you terrified with the prospect of using the command line? This bootcamp is designed for the person who wants to beef up their basic computer skills and feel comfortable with their computer’s operating system. The bootcamp series will run twice: once for PC and once for Mac.
Workshops take place Fridays from 11:10-12:00
