The Evolutionary Studies Initiative has created the Evolution@Vanderbilt Organization for Students and Trainees (EVOST). This group is designed to create a community of trainees (graduate students and postdocs) interested in evolution who want to participate in the Evolutionary Studies initiatives. Trainees can be interested in any aspect of evolution: teaching, biology, law, history, etc.
Our goals for the 2019-2020 academic year are to
• Attend Evoultion@Vanderbilt seminars
• Plan a Halloween event
• Invite an evolution themed speaker
• Meet in person once a semester
