Posted by on Monday, October 7, 2019 in Announcements .

Please come to  Flying Saucer (111 10th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203) on October 10 starting around 5:30pm, to join Life Science Tennessee and the LST Academic Alliance to network with each other, idea share, and hear about the latest life science industry news. THE FIRST BEER IS FREE!

This month’s speaker is Dr. Paul Folta, who has 25+ years international commercialization experience. His bio is below. The happy hour begins around 5:30pm, followed Dr. Folta’s talk at 6pm. For headcount purposes (there is no cost to attend), register for this event, and see additional details here:

  • Speaker: Dr. Paul Folta is a management consultant to life sciences and related companies that are seeking to commercialize overseas. He has over 25 years of experience advising and managing sales, sourcing and investment programs around the world for biotech, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare and other sectors. His talk, “International Commercialization: Key Principles & Cases,” will provide a checklist that Life Science entrepreneurs should consider for accessing international markets, offer lessons from recent cases and will be open to questions from the audience.

For the uninitiated, LST’s Beer and Biotech happy hours are an excellent opportunity to connect with local professionals involved in science industry, policy, and entrepreneurship. It’s great way to step outside of the Vanderbilt bubble and learn about the burgeoning life science industry in both Nashville and the state of Tennessee. If you have additional questions about Beer & Biotech or Life Science TN in general, check out the LST website ( or contact:
