Posted by on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Announcements .

The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) is offering two week-long courses this summer to help in the transition to careers in biotech. Of 230 participants from 2014-2018, 66% now have nonacademic jobs in industry, regulatory affairs, or tech transfer; the remainder are still in training or in academia.

In 2020 ASCB is offering two courses: East Coast, in partnership with University of Massachusetts Lowell, the Manning School of Business, May 31-June 6, and West Coast, in partnership with Keck Graduate Institute, Claremont, CA, July 12-18. Each course can accommodate up to 50 postdocs and graduate students (international and domestic). The course fee is $875, and scholarships from $200-$400 are available.

The deadline to apply is March 31
