Path to Postdoc at UCSF seeks applications from senior graduate students, particularly those from backgrounds historically marginalized in academic biomedical research, interested in pursuing postdoctoral training at UCSF or the associated Gladstone Institutes. New for 2021 Path to Postdoc will operate virtually and will host quarterly cohorts in March, June, and September.
Path to Postdoc at UCSF is a unique program for outstanding senior graduate students with backgrounds in the biomedical and health sciences, that will complete their PhD by the end of 2021, to be exposed to world-class research communities at UCSF and the associated Gladstone Institutes. Students will have an opportunity to interview with faculty research mentors for a postdoctoral position in their lab, give a research presentation to faculty and the UCSF community, meet current postdocs, and experience a slice of postdoctoral life at UCSF.
