Through these efforts ASCB seeks to:

  • Help scientists reach public audiences and foster appreciation of science
  • Enable scientists to catalyze pilot projects
  • Support scientists who may wish to transition to a career in public engagement
  • Provide mentoring and networking opportunities
  • Train scientists to develop assessment tools
A team may apply, but one individual must be designated as the lead. We are hoping for applications for diverse projects.

ASCB will award grants from $10,000-$35,000 to pay for materials and supplies, marketing, and salaries.

Application Deadline: March 31, 2021

Grants are funded by Science Sandbox, an initiative of the Simons Foundation
