“The New D.C.”: VSPG Chat with Dr. Heather Bloemhard—Tuesday, 4/20 at 5pm CT
The Vanderbilt Science Policy Group is excited to announce a webinar and discussion with Dr. Heather Bloemhard, Assistant Director of Federal Relations in Vanderbilt University’s Office of Federal Relations. The webinar will take place on Tuesday, April 20th from 5:00-6:00pm CT.
We plan to discuss the changes in Washington D.C. that accompany a change in administration, and the challenges that presents for working on the hill. We also hope to touch on key issues in science policy and how that intersects with the goals of the Biden administration, recent proposals for research funding, and career development for early career scientists/researchers.
