Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cardiovascular Signal Transduction – Harvard Medical School
The Michel lab studies cardiovascular signal transduction involving nitric oxide and reactive oxygen species (see https://michel.bwh.harvard.edu/). In recent years, they have pursued translational/basic projects that are leading to the development of new animal models for heart failure and aortic aneurysm using chemogenetics, funded by a recent NIH Catalyze grant (see https://www.brighamandwomens.org/about-bwh/newsroom/awards-honors-grants-detail?id=3876). The lab seeks a postdoctoral fellow who has rigorously trained in chemistry, biochemistry, and/or cell biology- and who is interested in extending their basic background to study the molecular/cellular basis of cardiovascular disease states in our new model systems. If interested, contact Dr. Michel, MD, PhD, at Thomas_michel@hms.harvard.edu.
