AAAS Live Chat: What’s it Like to be a Fellow? Part I

Posted by on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Announcements .

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is dedicating two of their summer Live Chats to discuss the experience of a Science and Technology Policy Fellow. The first Live Chat, A Year of Service, is June 17th at 1 P.M. ET, and will cover the meaningful contributions STP fellows have made over the last 50 years. This is a great opportunity to hear from past fellows about their day-to-day life during the fellowship. You will also be able to ask the panelists questions.

The panelists will be:

  • Faith Dukes, 2017-19 Executive Branch Fellow, National Science Foundation, Division of Human Resource Development
  • Andrea Gaede, 2017-18 Judicial Branch Fellow, Federal Judicial Center
  • Estevan Santana, 2016-18 Executive Branch Fellow, National Institutes of Health, Office of Science Policy
