IMPACT Fellowship Program: Now Accepting Applications!
The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) is pleased to announce the IMPACT Fellowship Program (“IMPACT”), a six-month program that provides marginalized early-career research trainees with access to personal and career resources, along with opportunities to build skills, assess and better understand their strengths, and develop new networks.
“Unfortunately, all postdoctoral scholars do not share equal access to critical resources, especially those from marginalized communities or from historically underfunded institutions,” said NPA executive director and chief executive officer, Thomas P. Kimbis. “A year after the height of protests in the wake of the death of George Floyd and just before the celebration of Juneteenth, we are proud to announce this intentional step in the right direction.”
The IMPACT Fellowship includes 5 components:
- Power of Peer (POP) Circles
- External mentoring resources
- Assessment and individualized interpretation
- Lunchtime speaker series
- Fellows networking event at the 2022 NPA Annual Conference
Applications are being accepted through August 1. For more information and to apply, visit: https://www.nationalpostdoc.org/page/IMPACTProgram?utm_source=Higher%20Logic&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Higher%20Logic%20Email
