Overview
The Department of Biomedical Sciences of Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with primary responsibilities for medical student education in basic and clinical pharmacology.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include serving as the course director of an integrated organ-based foundational biomedical science course for medical students, as well as teaching in undergraduate- and graduate medical curricula. Opportunities to engage in clinical service and/or clinical research appropriate to training and licensure may be available.
It is expected that faculty will be engaged in scholarly activities in areas such as medical education, curriculum design, learner and curriculum assessment, and/or clinical research. Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a PhD, PharmD, and/or MD degree.
Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience in medical or graduate education.
