We are kicking off PhD Career Stories2022 with our featured speaker, Caroling Benoist, PhD. Dr. Benoist is currently a Medical Science Liaison at Angelini Pharma UKI. She is an MSL for the CNS portfolio (currently only epilepsy but they are looking to expand) and is in charge of medical education for the UK and Ireland. Dr. Benoist received her PhD in Neuroscience from Washington State University. She completed her postdoc at the Vanderbilt Center for Science Outreach, where she consulted on science content and effectively translated difficult concepts to community leaders. Prior to her current position, she worked at The NS Academy in the United Kingdom, as Manger of Research and Development, and then at Celgene as Regional Medical Liaison. She has now been Medical Science Liaison at Arvelle Therapeutics-Angelina Pharma UKI since October 2020.
