Virtual Recruiting Visit for NYU Postdoc to Faculty Program

Posted by on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Announcements .

NYU Langone strives to foster an academic culture that’s as diverse and inclusive as our city—a place where people from different backgrounds and disciplines can collaborate with one another, achieve educational and career milestones, and discover new and innovative ways to improve healthcare.

We are launching the Scholar to Faculty Pathway Program as part of NYU Langone’s commitment to increasing the number of clinical and basic science researchers from underrepresented minorities at the faculty level. Participants selected for this program will receive culturally relevant mentoring and support, research support funding, and opportunities to connect with a cohort to support their transition from resident to faculty. The goal is that by the end of your program, you will be well positioned to continue on your career path towards being a successful researcher. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be strongly considered for a faculty position at NYU Langone.

Benefits available to participants in the Scholar to Faculty Pathway Program include additional compensation, support for relocation, rental and childcare subsidies, funding to attend meetings and conferences, tailored professional development, connection to racially and ethnically diverse faculty from medical schools across the country, and career coaching. This program is a partnership between the postdoctoral affairs team and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at NYU Langone.
