Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellow Positions (6), Dr. Yi-Ping Li’s Lab, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA
Six postdoctoral fellow positions are available in Dr. Yi-Ping Li’s laboratory in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine.
Candidates should have a recent or upcoming PhD or MD/PhD degree. A strong record of peer-reviewed publications with at least one first-author paper published in high impact journals in related fields is essential. Candidates should have an excellent work ethic, initiative, time management skills, and be well-organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and collaborate with other team members. Candidates should possess strong written and oral communication skills, and strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities. Candidates should have research experience and a strong research background in at least one of the following areas:
- Genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and cell signaling
- Mouse models of skeletal diseases and metabolic diseases, stem cell biology, tissue regeneration, and CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing
- Computational biology, bioinformatics, and biostatistics, including analyses of scRNA-seq data, RNA-seq data, ChIP-seq data, and proficient in statistical and programming languages
- Epigenetics, transcriptional and post-transcriptional gene regulation, RNA biology and protein structure biology
- Aging biology, immunology, inflammation diseases and cancer immunotherapy

Qualifications
