New ASPIRE seminar series for fall 2022: Biomedical Scientist’s Toolkit
The ASPIRE Program is launching a new career development seminar series this fall called the ASPIRE Biomedical Scientist’s Toolkit. This series is focused on equipping biomedical PhD students and postdoctoral fellows with the skills and insight to achieve their highest potential during their training period and beyond. This new series will take place on Thursdays at 11am and will rotate into our already established Thursday line-up which includes the ASPIRE Job Search Series and ASPIRE Café for Postdoctoral Fellows.
Whether you are a graduate student who is planning to write your first fellowship application or a postdoc wanting to more thoughtfully develop your mentoring style, this series will have something for you! Throughout the academic year, we will hear from a variety of speakers on topics that will help you excel no matter your training stage.
Don’t miss the next session on how to create an effective poster presentation that will capture the interest of your colleagues led by Chris Wright, D. Phil., Louise B. McGavock Chair and Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology, on September 1 at 11am in 214 Light Hall.
