CRI Launches New Postdoctoral Fellowship in Immuno-Informatics
The Cancer Research Institute is excited to launch the CRI Immuno-Informatics Postdoctoral Fellowship. This new track in CRI’s longstanding Postdoctoral Fellowship Program will support and train data scientists working on immuno-oncology research and immunologists incorporating big datasets into their research.
By creating experts skilled in both immuno-oncology and computational biology, CRI aims to foster a new generation of scientists equipped with critical skillsets to navigate the data-rich future of cancer immunotherapy research.
CRI is seeking hypothesis-driven projects in basic or translational cancer immunology or immunology. Applicants should demonstrate the potential of the proposed study to directly impact our understanding of the immune system’s role in cancer by leveraging the use of innovative technologies and/or computational methods including high throughput “omic” methods and data analyses.
The applicant should also address any new skills expected to be gained in immunology and/or computational biology including theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Application Deadline: March 1, 2023.
Funding: $186,000 over three years.
