Merck On-Campus Vanderbilt PhD recruiting day, July 27th, 2023
Save the Date! Representatives from Merck will be conducting a campus recruiting/visitation day on Thursday, July 27th.
Merck departments being represented include Discovery Chemistry, Informatics, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Analytical R&D. They have recently hired PhDs with expertise in a variety of fields including immunology, neurology, mass spec, hemodynamics, oncology, organic chemistry, informatics, and mechanical engineering. Representatives who will be visiting are primarily recruiting for West Point, PA (near Philly); Union County, NJ (near NYC); and Boston, MA locations.
Tentative agenda on Thursday July 27th will include:
- A ~60-90 minute morning seminar introducing Merck to the students/postdocs/summer students, followed by some general Q&A.
- A meet-and-greet lunch where students/postdocs/summer students can casually continue Q&A over pizza.
- ~30 minute 1:1 interviews with pre-screened candidates who are interested in full-time positions at Merck
