Position Purpose
Qualified applicants are being sought for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in Chemistry.
Location
This is an on-campus position requiring a presence in Lebanon, TN during the fall and spring semesters.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate classes in Chemistry, academic advising, continuous course and program level assessment, committee work, and other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and oral communication and the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others are required.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, engagement in scholarship, and commitment to university service are highly desirable.
Experience
Prior college-level teaching experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Education
Ph.D. in Chemistry. Applicants with a master’s degree in Chemistry may be considered at the rank of Instructor.
