Postdocs, Hear from Burroughs Wellcome Fund Leadership, learn about foundation funding
VI4 and ArtLab are hosting a day of events on Monday, August 7 to showcase our VI4 Artist-in-Residence program, in addition to featuring a presentation from our funder, the Burroughs Wellcome Fund. The VI4 AiR program connects undergraduate artists with labs from VI4 and across the country to create works of art that are used to promote visual communication in science. Art from the program has been featured on the covers of journals, used online, and around Vanderbilt. We are looking forward to hearing from our artists this year and celebrating their work!
BWF leadership will also be presenting on their programs for both faculty and postdocs during an afternoon session. This should be a great way for people to learn a bit about foundation funding.
Register for any/all of the 3 events (artist presentations at 10:30, BWF presentation at 2pm, and a gallery opening at the Fine Arts Gallery at 4:30pm).
