Are you ready to be immersed in an unmatched experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the largest forensic laboratory in the world? The FBI Visiting Scientist Program (VSP) is an educational training program, administered by ORISE, designed to connect its participants with unique resources and progressive research at the Forensic Science Research and Training Center in Quantico, Virginia. This FBI lab has been hosting students, postgraduates, and university faculty since 1982 and provides participants with experiential, cutting-edge research experiences to help further their education, professional development, and career trajectory. VSP participants enhance their marketable skills and increase research capabilities by participating in forensic research initiatives utilizing state-of the art equipment under the mentorship of renowned experts in a wide range of STEM fields supporting forensic research. In collaboration with these experts and scientists, participants engage in research in areas of interest to law enforcement and national security. Additionally, VSP allows participants to explore future career opportunities with the FBI and federal government.
