Job Opportunity: Associate Scientific Content Manager, Axcess Oncology
Location: Atlanta, GA, United States
The function includes but is not limited to an independent implementation of the following tasks:
Assist in the management of a portfolio of educational offerings within the Clinical Department
Develop and assist in the development of selected activities
Develop and maintain expertise in various oncology therapeutic areas
Analyze relevant resources to outline and develop clinically oriented content for activities
Liaise with internal and external clinical advisors/experts
Writing and developing executive summaries, newsletters, medical manuscripts, , case-based e-learning activities, and conference based coverage as needed
Proof scientific content of project materials for accuracy and clarity
Prepare executive summaries, evaluation reports and highlights of activities or individual presentations when required
Develop and write educational needs assessment, gap analyses and learning objectives when needed
Synthesize, collect and edit clinical content for product offerings
Provide insight into medical and scientific matters related to educational offerings being developed for other Axess Oncology staff
Travel to and participate as needed in selected Axess Oncology educational activities (both US-based and International)
Ensure that all regulatory agency stipulations are implemented where required
Other duties, tasks and/or functions as assigned
Preferred background and skills:
Strong interest in opportunities for advancement into leadership positions
PhD or PharmD
A strong scientific background in a medical/pharmaceutical/biological field
Excellent English communication and writing skills
Experience in the medical communications industry, preferably in the field of oncology
Able to translate scientific information into attractive practical communication assets
International orientation
Results-oriented, accurate and analytical
High energy and professionalism
Experience with development of scientific content (manuscripts, slides, etc.)
Willing to travel
The position is based in Atlanta, GA, United States.
Remuneration is consistent with market standards and is dependent on background and relevant experience.
