Position: Product Engineer
About the Company
MONQ, LLC is a science-driven startup specializing in olfaction and neurocognition. We develop novel plant-based products and delivery devices to modulate chemosensory signaling and cognition.
We seek a biomedical engineer to develop delivery devices for various emulsions and solutions. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with science, engineering, and design teams to develop nebulization devices
- Design, source, and test medical device prototypes
- Collaborate with design team and aerospace engineers remotely
- Communicate technical details to chemistry, design, and marketing, and software teams
- Contribute to company strategy and vision, and be willing to assume a leadership role
Requirements
- Strong device prototyping experience
- Proficient with CAD, machining, small circuits, fluid mechanics, and surface chemistry
- Familiarity with drug safety and FDA regulations
- MATLAB and Python proficiency preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly driven, hands-on, self-motivated, and able to work in ambiguous environments
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Can work individually and as a part of a team
- Required to submit to a criminal background check
- Eligible to work in the US with no restrictions
Position type: Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk; PT also available
Starting date: ASAP
Location: Goodlettsville, TN
Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills
