The BRET Office of Career Development is seeking a volunteer Content Editor to assist in the preparation and publication of the biannual newsletter, "Results and Discussion".  This newsletter highlights research accomplishments of BRET graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and features stories on activities and resources available to BRET trainees.

The Department of Chemistry is currently seeking graduate students or postdocs to serve as Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support 3 sections of Organic Chemistry lab (Lab Supervisors) and 6 Recitation Sections (Recitation Leaders).   Lab Supervisors: The TA will be required to supervise lab and grade lab reports. Lab TAs will need to take a 2 hr chemical safety workshop in advance of supervising the labs.

Fall Semester, Vanderbilt University English Language Center, 1208 18th Avenue South Tuition-Free Academic English Classes for VU students, faculty, and staff at the ELC. The Vanderbilt University English Language Center (VU ELC) offers tuition-free* courses for individuals at VU who have a first language other than English. CIRTL stands for Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning and it’s a network of universities (created originally by an NSF grant) which aims to develop a national STEM faculty committed to implementing and advancing effective teaching practices for diverse student audiences. Vanderbilt is an institutional member so Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff can access CIRTL resources free of charge.
