Description
Fellowships support predoctoral students in their second or third year of graduate study (at the time of application) engaged in medicinal chemistry research in a Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemistry department listed in the current ACS Directory of Graduate Research. Mentors for all applicants must be members in good standing of the Division of Medicinal Chemistry. The one-time, non-renewable award is solely for stipend support for the awardee.
Eligibility:
Applicant must:
- Be a US citizen or permanent resident at the time of application.
- Have at least one year of graduate school remaining at the time an award would begin (September 1).
Award amount:
- $35,000 stipend.
- $1,000 travel grant to attend the National ACS meeting.
