Office of Generic Drugs (OGD), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) at the FDA is excited to announce our first Virtual Hiring Event scheduled for October 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM EST. You will have the opportunity to meet the Director of the office along with other staff members and learn firsthand about the positions available within OGD. CDER’s Office of Generic Drugs is seeking talented, highly motivated and qualified individuals to help implement the Generic Drug User Fee Amendments of 2012 (GDUFA).

The PMF Class of 2014 tentative application period is from Tuesday, October 1 through Tuesday, October 15, 2013. We recommend you apply early and set aside ample time to complete the entire application. The Become A PMF section on the PMF website will soon be updated for the PMF Class of 2014 application cycle.

Presidential Management Fellows program to add pilot STEM track

It was created more than three decades ago by Executive Order. Historically, the PMF program was designed for public policy students, but PMF opened to all degree programs in 1982. In 2010, the program changed again to allow applications both from graduate students who will finish their advanced degree in the upcoming academic year, as well as from recent alumni who completed their advanced degree training in the previous two years.
